MacOS X Snow Leopard 10.6 - Hard Set DNS

 
  1. Goto the "Apple Menu" in the top left hand corner, "System Preferences".
  2. Open "Network".
  3. You'll see the servers in grey that are used automatically.
    For each connection you use to connect to the internet (Ethernet and/or Airport), set the "DNS Server" as "208.67.220.220, 208.67.222.222".
  4. Click "Apply".

  5. You'll notice the "DNS Server" entries are now in black. Close the window.
