Mozilla Thunderbird 2

 
    To update an email account:
  1. Open your E-mail Client "Mozilla Thunderbird 2"
  2. Go to "Tools > Account Settings..."

  3. Select your account and enter with your own information:
    (Set SSL first before changing port numbers, as it will change the port when selected)
    • Server Name: mail.toughcountry.net
    • Port: 995
    • User Name: jsmith@toughcountry.net
    • Connection security: SSL
    • On the bottom left select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)"

  4. Highlight your server, select "Edit"

  5. Enter the following with your own information:
    • Server Name: mail.toughcountry.net
    • Port: 465
    • Use name and password: Checked
    • User Name: username@toughcountry.net
    • Use secure connection: SSL
    • Click "OK"

  6. Click "OK".

  7. If you need to change the current password stored in Thunderbird, go here.
