Tough Country Communications

Windows Live Mail 2011

 
    To add a new email account:
  1. Open your E-mail Client "Windows Live Mail 2011"
  2. Click the "Accounts" tab > "Email".
    Email Configuration

  3. Enter the following with your own information:
    • E-mail Address: johnsmith@toughcountry.net
    • Password: Your email password
    • Remember password: Checked
    • Display Name: John Smith
    • Make this my default email account: Checked
    • Manually configure server settings: Checked
    • Click "Next"
    4. Email Configuration

  4. Enter the following:
    (Set SSL first before changing port numbers, as it will change the port when selected)
    • Server type: POP
    • Incoming Server: mail.toughcountry.net
    • Port: 995
    • Requires a secure connection (SSL): Checked
    • Authenticate Using: Clear text
    • Logon username: johnsmith@toughcountry.net
    • Outgoing Server: mail.toughcountry.net
    • Port: 465
    • Requires a secure connection (SSL): Checked
    • My outgoing server requires authentication: Checked
    • Click "Next"
